There’s nothing wrong with expecting!

There is something that I believe is undeniable about beleivers getting together for a common purpose!  This entire week  is a convention at World Changers Church International aptly named The Gathering…world reknowned faith giants such as Kenneth Copeland, Paster Creflo and Taffi Dollar, Dr. Marilyn Hickey, and Jimmy Evans to name a few with many more to come are teaching in their called areas of expertise and let me tell you it is life changing in a HUGE way.

Their messages so far have dug in deep and truly slapped me into jumping outside of my circumstances and getting SERIOUS about the call of God on my life and the meaning of serving others around me.  Gathering together gives every believer a chance to get the worship energy, perspective, and genuine opportunity to be around the body of Christ.

With every event that is worth ANY mention, there are some pitfalls– some regular ole mess that can ruin your experience if you let it… So ladies and gentlemen watch out for it and recognize it for what it is– an opportunity for you to walk in LOVE and not let strife short circuit what you came to get and give.  These “pitfalls” can be characterized as rude people, disorganized volunteers, not “feeling” the worship songs, or even sitting next to a person that smells ripe to you.  Any and everyone of these circumstances is an opportunity to “Hallejujah” anyway and HELP.  Don’t point, gossip, or roll your eyes at YOUR inconvenience– be a blessing or that person that sets religion and their own comfort issues aside to BE love.  LOVE ain’t always just saying ” praise the Lord and get out my way if you’re on something else sistah”.  Real love is looking for a way to help, forgive, and understand that some people are in pain, some people came expecting with nothing to give but their broken heart, and some people just plain ole don’t know any better or care.   Luke 6:32 says If you [merely] love those who love you, what quality of credit and thanks is that to you? For even the [very] sinners love their lovers (those who love them).

I challenge you to be that dynamic HARD to offend lover that doth not get hype over a scuffed shoe, a dirty look, or a person that doesn’t look like you do (good or bad).  There is no substitute for a great attitude so submit your thoughts to Christ and put your eyball on a scripture that will teach you a much better way!

By the way, The Gathering is going on all week and each session in the World Dome is streamed live www.creflodollarministries.org (go to Watch Live Services @ 10a, 2p, and 7p)  or come to church and get your love, praise, and spiritual reception on.

Love ya!
